What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth airport operations and exceptional passenger experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Travel Sales and Promotion: Advance and sell air travel to the traveling public or cargo forwarders, helping customers find the best options for their needs and budget.
- Passenger Check-In Assistance: Provide expert assistance with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Regulatory Compliance: Interpret government regulations and requirements for domestic and international travel or freight shipments, ensuring all passengers and cargo meet legal requirements.
- Flight Operations: Meet and dispatch aircraft within established timeframes, coordinating with ground crews and pilots to ensure on-time departures.
- Customer Support: Provide compassionate assistance to disrupted travelers and clients, going above and beyond to resolve issues and restore confidence in our service.
- Security and Safety: Protect company property and revenue while accommodating safe travel for all passengers and crew members.
- Physical Operations: Possess the physical ability and skill to use coordinated skills to perform various job-related tasks, including operating ground support equipment.
- Time Management: Utilize organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within limited time periods, especially during peak travel periods.
- Self-Direction: Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in all situations.
- Emergency Response: Respond and assist during security and emergency situations, following protocols to ensure the safety of all individuals.
- Policy Compliance: Follow internal and external policies and procedures consistently, maintaining the highest standards of operations.
- Equipment Operation: May be required to drive and operate air stairs to various types of aircraft to enplane and deplane passengers safely.
- Team Leadership: Be responsible for the general performance within your workspace and may be expected to lead and direct the work of other team members.
- Communications: May be expected to perform Passenger Activity Control functions including air-to-ground communication along with Ramp functions.
All You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered.
- Language Skills: Read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Bilingual language abilities are preferred in certain locations.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license as required by local authorities.
- Background Check: Must satisfy FAA criminal record checks to qualify for unescorted access credentials to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security identifications, if applicable.
- Availability: Ability to work irregular as well as extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliability: Must report to work in a regular and timely manner.
