What You'll Do

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll be working with a collaborative team whose shared objective is to guarantee that our client's luggage and cargo shows up securely and on time. Your daily responsibilities will involve physical work that keeps our operations running smoothly. You'll be scheduled to work between 20 to 40 hours per week, with shifts that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Baggage and Cargo Handling: Safely lift, load, dump, and transport luggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft. Ensure on-time connections by directing incoming and outgoing aircraft to their designated gate positions.


• Cargo Protection: Safeguard luggage, cargo, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions. Meticulously handle each item as if it were your own.


• Ground Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate ground equipment including tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in busy areas of congestion, always prioritizing safety.


• Loading and Unloading: Repeatedly lift and load luggage onto trucks and conveyors to ensure every bag reaches its intended destination without delay.


• Technology Utilization: Work with baggage scanners and computer systems to ensure items and cargo are routed correctly to each passenger's destination.


• Safety Compliance: Practice security-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Maintain awareness of your surroundings and follow all safety protocols rigorously.

Work Environment

This role requires physical stamina and adaptability. Your work tasks will involve bowing, stooping, turning, standing, and walking throughout your shift. The work is repetitive in nature, including loading and stacking bags as well as working in confined spaces and on your knees for extended periods inside aircraft bins. Occasionally, these tasks will be completed in harsh weather conditions including heat, rain, snow, and other elements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Flexibility: Work a fixed as well as rotating schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or aviation ground operations.


• Forklift or heavy equipment certification.


• Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.


• Knowledge of airport operations and safety procedures.
