  • *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Physician Assistant to join our MinuteClinic team. As a Full Stack Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to our patients, including precise evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, management of medical conditions, health advising, and demeanor making arrangements. You will also be responsible for managing patient arrangements, performing steering assessments, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients, including precise evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, management of medical conditions, health advising, and demeanor making arrangements.
  • Manage patient arrangements, including scheduling appointments, performing steering assessments, and ensuring positive patient health outcomes.
  • Perform duties such as talking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their healthcare and wellness through services such as health screenings, social health, and health management of ongoing conditions.
  • Request and administer vaccinations and injections (including but not limited to COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccination guidance and education.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • *Required Capabilities**
  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients, including precise evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, management of medical conditions, health advising, and demeanor making arrangements.
  • Request and administer vaccinations and injections (including but not limited to COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccination guidance and education.
  • At least two years of clinically relevant experience or the same.
  • Complete the Spock affirmation test within 30 days of employment.
  • Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, not limited to but including Spanish.
  • Essential Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing mouth-to-mouth and working a Mechanical External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when required.
  • *Preferred Capabilities**
  • If under 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, earlier student precepting turn with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
  • *Training**
  • Graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current Public Board Accreditation and State of Practice license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse job.
  • Or in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related graduate degree or comparable experience along with Four-year education in science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current Public Board Accreditation and State of Practice license to practice in the job.
