Position Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking, analytically driven Business Planning Supervisor to join our arenaflex+ Trading team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring clear and aligned targets for subscriber acquisition, marketing budgets, retention, and other key direct-to-consumer metrics. You will work closely with regional arenaflex+ capabilities, business development and finance teams, as well as local market groups and US advertising sales teams to drive insights and decision-making that optimize subscriber growth and engagement.

As part of the newly created Business Execution and Planning function, you will be responsible for providing a unified view of ongoing Trading performance, generating actionable insights, and leading the annual and quarterly planning process. This is an excellent opportunity for a business professional who enjoys working with complex data, collaborating across multiple stakeholders, and contributing to strategic initiatives within a fast-paced, dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

Planning Model Development: Support the development of principal planning models, including the annual operating plan model and monthly forecasting model. This includes creating executive-level summary views, streamlined calculations, and clearly identified inputs and assumptions.

Strategy Development: Assist in the development of arenaflex+ annual strategy and participate in quarterly planning and monthly/bi-monthly forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Business Case Modeling: Model business cases and scenarios to support decision-making regarding pricing strategies, go-to-market approaches, and monetization optimization initiatives.

Performance Analysis: Support ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses on drivers of performance for previous quarters, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Business Updates: Assist in forecasting and preparing EMEA and US business updates, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with regional arenaflex+ capabilities, business development teams, finance teams, local market groups, and US advertising sales teams to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.

Executive Communication: Tailor communications effectively to different audiences, including country teams, global teams, and senior executives, ensuring clarity and relevance.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Proven experience working in data-driven environments with a track record of driving decision-making through data analysis and insights.

High numeracy and strong analytical capabilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project timelines and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and precision.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude, people-oriented approach, and enthusiasm for working within a collaborative team environment.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in the streaming, media, or entertainment industry, preferably within a B2C organization.

Familiarity with subscription business models and direct-to-consumer (DTC) metrics such as subscriber acquisition cost (SAC), lifetime value (LTV), and churn rates.

Experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple regions or markets.

Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and data visualization platforms.

Knowledge of European and/or US media and entertainment markets.

Experience collaborating with finance, marketing, and business development teams.

Skills and Competencies
