The Senior Director of Data Science position offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on analytical work. You will be responsible for building and maintaining centralized reporting capabilities, implementing process enhancements and automation, and ultimately driving revolutionary data solutions that provide robust forecasts and analytics for the entire Risk Finance organization. What You Will Do

As the leader of our Global Data Strategy group, you will be at the forefront of transforming how arenaflex leverages data for financial decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Credit Analysis: Lead the comprehensive evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve analysis for Senior Management in Risk and Finance. You will serve as the primary analytical voice translating complex data into actionable strategic insights.


• Data Asset Ownership: Become the go-to expert for data assets and packages within Risk Finance. Master the relevant tools to troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancement and automation opportunities, and educate other users to drive adoption across the organization.


• Reporting Development: Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports used by Risk Finance and business partners. Provide credit-related analytical support that empowers teams to make informed decisions quickly and accurately.


• Executive Communication: Develop and present key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management. Your ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives will be crucial to success in this role.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships across Risk Finance portfolio teams and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Technology, and other departments. Your collaborative approach will ensure alignment and maximize the impact of your work.


• Decision Support Innovation: Provide decision support with a strong emphasis on developing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio. Your insights will help optimize Business and Risk decisions across the organization.

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced experience working with SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, and TM1. You should be proficient in the majority of these tools and willing to expand your technical toolkit.


• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required. You must be able to create sophisticated financial models and compelling presentations that communicate complex findings effectively.


• Experience in Machine Learning modeling is a strong plus. If you have experience developing predictive models, we want to hear from you.


• Solid financial and analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions that empower business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

We recognize that your expertise and contributions deserve competitive compensation. The expected salary range for this position is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly, plus eligibility for bonus and equity awards where applicable. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
