What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Seasonal Onsite Customer Service Representative at our Lakeland location, you'll be at the forefront of customer interactions, serving as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inbound Call Handling: Professionally manage incoming calls from customers seeking assistance with routine tax questions, inquiries, and concerns. You'll be the friendly voice that greets callers and guides them through their issues with patience and expertise.
- Tax Question Support: Provide accurate and helpful responses to customers regarding tax-related queries. You'll need to possess a solid understanding of basic tax concepts and be prepared to explain procedures, deductions, and filing requirements in clear, accessible language.
- Client Complaint Resolution: Address client complaints with empathy and professionalism. You'll listen actively to understand the root cause of concerns, offer appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Product and Service Support: Assist customers with inquiries about various products and services offered by our client partners. This requires the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple product lines while maintaining accurate and up-to-date knowledge.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointment booking and scheduling for customers. You'll utilize scheduling systems to coordinate convenient times, confirm details, and maintain organized records.
- Multi-System Navigation: Toggle between multiple technology platforms while maintaining clear communication with customers. This includes CRM systems, knowledge bases, ticketing platforms, and various client-specific tools.
- Documentation and Accuracy: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, ensuring proper documentation in our systems for quality assurance and follow-up purposes.
- Continuous Learning: Participate actively in training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing skill development to enhance your knowledge of tax regulations, customer service best practices, and new product offerings.
Real Stories. Real Impact at arenaflex
We believe in the power of exceptional customer service to change lives. Here's a recent success story from our team that exemplifies the arenaflex difference:
"One of our tax support agents received a call from a first-time business owner who had just finished filing her taxes using free software. She was shocked to see she owed thousands of dollars and wasn't sure what went wrong. The agent calmly walked through her return, asking thoughtful questions about her business expenses. As they talked, it became clear she hadn't claimed several legitimate write-offs — things like startup costs, home office expenses, and mileage deductions.
Rather than just correcting the return, the agent took the time to explain each deduction, how it applied to her specific business, and how to track it going forward for future tax seasons. By the end of the call, the customer had refiled with confidence — and saved thousands in taxes. She thanked the agent for turning a stressful moment into a learning experience and left the call feeling empowered and supported."
This is the arenaflex standard: going beyond the basics to truly serve our customers and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
