What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Customer Engineer at arenaflex Cloud, you'll be responsible for driving complex cloud solutions from concept to execution. Your primary focus will be on strategic customers with non-standard requests and innovation needs. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:


  • Create and Execute Strategic Cloud Offers: Develop comprehensive cloud offerings that address unique customer challenges. This includes building compelling business cases, securing alignment from cross-functional teams, addressing budget requirements, obtaining executive buy-in, acquiring new customers, driving proof-of-concept demonstrations, and scaling successful offers to the broader field team once validated.
  • Technical Advisory Role: Serve as the primary technical advisor and point of contact for strategic customers and accounts with non-standard requests and innovation needs. You'll translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior cross-functional key stakeholders in customer and partner organizations. Your ability to deliver quality technical solutions and services will be critical to long-term partnership success.
  • Solution Code Development: Collaborate with internal and external developers, users, partners, clients, and stakeholders to strategize and develop solution code that meets specific customer requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Travel to customer sites, conferences, and industry events as required. You'll serve as a public advocate for arenaflex Cloud, representing our technical capabilities and vision to external audiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams to offer and deliver complex distributed cloud solutions. Your technical expertise will guide customer decisions and ensure alignment with arenaflex Cloud's capabilities.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

We're seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in cloud-native architecture and customer-facing technical roles. Here's what you need to succeed at arenaflex:


  • Extensive Cloud Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. You should have deep familiarity with modern cloud computing paradigms, containerization, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment models.
  • Technical Depth: Minimum 8 years of experience in system design and proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python, or equivalent). You should be comfortable architecting scalable solutions and understanding software development lifecycle considerations.
  • ML/AI Expertise: Minimum 3 years of experience using machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies to build innovative solutions. You should understand how ML/AI can be applied to solve real-world business challenges.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience with edge computing, distributed systems, or data center transformation. You should understand the unique challenges and opportunities in these areas.
  • Executive Presence: Demonstrated experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders. You should be comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and influencing decision-makers.
