About the Role: Customer Engineer

As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will serve as an AI and machine learning expert, working closely with our Technical Engagement teams to demonstrate the power of arenaflex Cloud to our clients. This is a client-facing role that combines technical expertise with exceptional communication skills.

In this position, you will help prospective clients and partners understand the capabilities of arenaflex Cloud, explain technical features in accessible terms, assist customers in designing proof-of-concept models, and troubleshoot any potential roadblocks they encounter. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to help clients utilize specialized AI and machine learning hardware developed by arenaflex for high-performance computing tasks.

You will work closely with clients and our product development teams to shape the future of our hardware and software offerings. This collaborative approach ensures that we deliver solutions that truly meet client needs while continuously improving our technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:


  • Business Development Support: Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key client technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers that may prevent successful deployments.
  • AI Expertise and Guidance: Provide deep AI and machine learning expertise to support the technical relationship with arenaflex's clients, including conducting product and solution briefings, leading proof-of-concept work, and collaborating with product management to prioritize solutions that impact client adoption of arenaflex Cloud.
  • Solution Demonstration: Work with clients to demonstrate and model arenaflex Cloud product integrations in client and partner environments, showcasing the power and flexibility of our platform.
  • Technical Strategy Development: Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement complete solutions using best practices on arenaflex Cloud.
  • Client Engagement: Travel to client sites, conferences, and other related events as needed to provide on-site support, training, and technical presentations.
  • Solution Architecture: Design and architect scalable, distributed systems that meet client requirements while leveraging arenaflex Cloud's full range of services and capabilities.
  • Technical Enablement: Help clients understand and adopt best practices for data management, machine learning model development, and cloud infrastructure optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to provide customer feedback that drives product improvement and innovation.

Essential Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Cloud and Virtualization Experience: Foundational experience with virtualization or cloud-native architectures in a client-facing or support role. Understanding of fundamental cloud concepts such as compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Programming and Technical Skills: Experience with programming languages and tools commonly used in data science and machine learning, such as Python, TensorFlow, MATLAB, or similar frameworks. Familiarity with big data concepts and mathematical programming techniques.
  • Technical Communication: Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify technical issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to learn quickly, understand, and work with emerging technologies, processes, and solutions in the cloud and IT technology space.
