Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role in protecting one of the world's most influential platforms? arenaflex is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics to lead our Trust and Safety efforts in combating malicious actors and driving data-driven insights across the organization.

The Trust and Safety (T&S) organization at arenaflex is dedicated to making our platform a safe, welcoming space for users, viewers, and content creators worldwide. Whether it's understanding and addressing online content concerns, preventing adversarial actors from causing harm to users, or developing and enforcing global policies, the Trust and Safety team is continuously working to enhance the arenaflex experience and build a safer online environment.

About the Role


As the Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of protecting our platform and users from bad actors. This senior leadership position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of platform safety and drive meaningful impact on a global scale.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, terminated clients, engagement manipulation, spam, and emerging threats. The Adversarial Abuse team is tasked with early detection of emerging trends and operational enforcement, while also providing critical input to Product Management and Engineering teams to build data infrastructure and tools that keep pace with rapidly evolving abuse patterns.

The Business Analytics team within this function is responsible for measuring abuse, interpreting data, generating actionable insights, and producing standard reporting through comprehensive dashboards for all of arenaflex Trust and Safety. This team also creates transparency and compliance reports for countries around the world, ensuring regulatory adherence and public accountability.

Note: This role requires occasional on-call availability, including weekend coverage on a rotational basis, as rapid response situations may arise.

Key Responsibilities



  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead the Adversarial Abuse team responsible for identifying and removing bad actors attempting account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, evasion of termination, and other malicious activities. Also oversee the Business Analytics team responsible for generating insights, estimating uncaught badness, and publishing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide.

  • Strategic Risk Management: Understand, anticipate, and intelligently moderate risks from new, scaling industry trends, including emerging technologies such as generative AI and other novel abuse vectors.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Policy Development team to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior patterns.

  • Operational Excellence: Deliver effective and efficient operational performance (including quality and service levels) in a global team operating 24×7.

  • Talent Development: Attract, retain, manage, and develop top talent within your organization, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

  • Escalation Management: Handle escalations with rapid turnaround times, providing data and content-driven insights while implementing solutions.

  • Partnership Building: Develop strong relationships with key cross-functional partners to help launch new products and policies that effectively prevent adversarial abuse.

  • Trend Analysis: Monitor industry developments and proactively recommend strategies to address emerging threats before they impact our platform and user community.

Required Qualifications


We're looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in risk management, fraud prevention, and analytics at scale. The ideal candidate will have:



  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/delivering analytical insights that have driven measurable business impact.

  • 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that build data infrastructure and machine learning models, demonstrating the ability to translate technical capabilities into business solutions.

  • 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard work weeks as accelerations require, including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and drive clarity from uncertainty.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Analytics, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent discipline).

  • 2+ years of experience with large-scale dataset analysis and anomaly detection, including experience with statistical modeling and pattern recognition techniques.

  • Direct experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse operations, preferably at a major technology platform.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, R, or Matlab for data analysis and visualization.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent business judgment, strategic and analytical capabilities, including the ability to use data to drive strategy and business action.

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights and data-driven decision making.
