Welcome to the arenaflex Customer Listening Team within our Global Services Group, Global Asset and Wealth Management, and Global Corporate Services businesses. We handle over 5 million customer surveys annually across consumer, business, and service provider segments. Our team is responsible for the entire end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VoC) methodology, including the design and programming of customer experience surveys that span more than 40 distinct studies, translated into over 10 languages and deployed in more than 20 countries worldwide.

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Statistics Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer platform. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and customer experience—where your technical expertise will directly impact how we understand and serve millions of customers globally.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Statistics Architect at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our Voice of the Customer technology infrastructure. You'll work closely with product and process owners, subject matter experts from our survey platform partners, and agile technology teams to build robust data solutions that power critical business insights.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Platform Development & Maintenance: Support the development and maintenance of our new Voice of the Customer technology platform, sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with our survey and dashboard infrastructure powered by Qualtrics.

  • Business Requirements Definition: Collaborate closely with application teams to define, structure, and capture comprehensive business requirements that drive meaningful data outcomes.

  • Data Platform Expertise: Deepen your knowledge of Voice of the Customer methodologies and leverage this expertise to design and transform data within the Cornerstone Big Data platform.

  • Architecture Design: Design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the enterprise.

  • Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions while ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use-case levels.

  • Performance Optimization: Provide guidance to enhance capabilities that drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.

  • Analytics & Automation: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and develop software programs, and create testing and build automation tools.

  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from across the organization to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the Voice of the Customer end-to-end methodology.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:


  • Technical Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages, along with development launch management and troubleshooting expertise for data-driven projects.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.

  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.

  • Big Data Ecosystem: Strong understanding of the big data ecosystem, including distributed computing frameworks, data warehousing concepts, and real-time processing architectures.

  • Data Modeling: Experience in designing and implementing scalable data models and ETL pipelines.

  • Quality Assurance: Strong debugging and testing skills to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms

  • Knowledge of customer experience analytics and Voice of the Customer programs

  • Experience working in financial services or fintech environments

  • Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements

  • Experience with cloud-based big data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
