What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the critical ground operations that keep our flights running smoothly and safely. This is a physical, hands-on role that requires dedication, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Your daily responsibilities will include:

Loading and Unloading Cargo: Safely lift, load, dump, and transport luggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft. You'll handle items weighing up to 50-70 pounds regularly, using proper lifting techniques to protect yourself and others.

Aircraft Movement: Coordinate incoming and outgoing aircraft by directing planes from gate positions, ensuring timely connections and smooth operational flow throughout the airport.

Cargo Protection: Safeguard freight, items, and mail from damage, loss, and weather exposure, maintaining the highest standards of care for customer possessions.

Ground Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate ground equipment including tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas, following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Technology Utilization: Work with luggage scanners and computer systems to ensure items are routed accurately to their intended destinations, maintaining precise tracking and inventory control.

Weather Adaptation: Perform duties in various weather conditions including heat, rain, and snow, adapting to environmental challenges while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Shifts vary based on operational requirements and may range from early morning to evening hours. You can expect to work between 20 and 40 hours per week depending on your status and the station's flight schedule. Each airport location has a unique operational profile, providing diverse experiences and learning opportunities.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Valid Driver's License: Must possess a current, valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Language Proficiency: Strong capability in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and supervisors.

Safety-First Mindset: Consistently prioritize the safety and security of yourself, others, and company property in all activities and decisions.

Diversity and Inclusion: Embrace diverse people, thinking styles, and backgrounds, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift.
