The role of Operations Analytics at arenaflex is pivotal to our continued success. Our Data Engineering teams within the Operations Analysis and Performance (OAP) department are the backbone of our analytical capabilities. We are responsible for curating Single Source of Truth data tables that serve as the foundation for all analytics work, generating and distributing automated reporting in a modular and scalable manner, leading initiatives to transition to modern data and reporting tools, and serving as a center of excellence for efficient data processing and governance. What You'll Be Doing: Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our data ecosystem. Here's what you can expect to be doing:

• Data Extraction and Integration: Locate and extract information from a variety of sources to be used in evaluation, models, and challenge development. You'll work with diverse data sources, understanding their structure and content to effectively integrate them into our analytical environment.


• Data Curation and Cleaning: Clean and curate datasets by exploring new data assets and collaborating with different business units to determine the best source of information. You'll aggregate perspectives into meaningful hierarchies that make sense for our analysts and stakeholders.


• Environment Management: Become familiar with our data environments and collaborate to improve automatic reviews and analyses in support of divisional leaders and business units. You'll be the go-to person for understanding how our data flows through the organization.

What You Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring a combination of technical skills, business acumen, and the right mindset. Here's what you'll need:

• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of related experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a similar role.


• Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT patterns is essential. You should be comfortable writing complex queries and understanding data pipeline architecture.


• Programming Skills: Proficiency with Python, SAS, or other comparable tools and programming languages. You should be able to manipulate data, build automated processes, and solve complex problems through code.


• Database Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot a reporting database environment. When issues arise, you should be able to diagnose and resolve them efficiently.


• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple requests with varying timelines. You'll be juggling various priorities, and organizational skills are crucial.
