About the Role

As a Returns Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in our operations center, working closely with the Returns Department leadership team to ensure smooth and efficient processing of returned items. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively and maintain our reputation for excellence.

You'll be the backbone of our returns operations, ensuring that every item is properly documented, tracked, and processed with precision.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Returns Data Entry Specialist will include, but are not limited to:

• Data Entry and Documentation: Accurately enter returned item data into our warehouse management systems (WMS) on a daily basis. You'll be responsible for maintaining detailed records of all returned products, ensuring each item is properly categorized, tracked, and processed according to established procedures.


• Team Support: Provide comprehensive support to the leadership team and inspectors within the Returns Department. This includes assisting with various administrative tasks, preparing reports, and helping to ensure the team meets its daily goals and objectives.


• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization to maintain excellent service standards. You'll serve as a key point of contact for returns-related inquiries and ensure seamless communication between teams.


• Customer Inquiry Response: Manage and respond to customer emails daily regarding their return inquiries. You'll provide timely, professional, and helpful responses that reflect arenaflex's commitment to exceptional customer service.


• System Navigation: Utilize our warehouse management systems (including High Jump WMS) to process returns, lookup item information, and maintain accurate inventory records. You'll become proficient in multiple systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of all return processing needs.


• Research and Investigation: Conduct research on missing customer information, analyze reports to identify discrepancies, and resolve issues related to incomplete or inaccurate return documentation. Your investigative skills will help prevent errors and improve overall process efficiency.


• Communication: Interface regularly with internal leadership, including department supervisors and leads, to provide updates, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for process improvements.


• Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected tasks as they arise in our fast-paced warehouse environment.

What We're Looking For – Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Multitasking Abilities: Strong capability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.


• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and understanding, with the ability to quickly learn new software systems.


• System Experience: Ability to understand and navigate multiple warehouse management systems, particularly High Jump WMS.


• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.


• Analytical Skills: Basic research skills to investigate missing customer information, analyze reports, and identify solutions to data discrepancies.


• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and maintain quality standards.


• Basic Software Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create simple spreadsheets, enter data, and perform basic calculations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, the following experience would be a significant plus:

• Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and product handling is highly valued.


• RF Scanner Proficiency: Background using Radio Frequency (R/F) scanners for inventory management and tracking. Experience with scanning equipment and technology used in modern warehouse operations.


• Data Entry Background: Prior experience in data entry roles, particularly in retail, e-commerce, or logistics settings.


• Customer Service Experience: Previous experience responding to customer inquiries, either via email or phone, in a professional setting.
