Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Client Account Manager to oversee and manage our CPG client relationships within the Large Customer Sales division. This role is critical to our success, as you'll be the primary liaison between our advertising partners and internal teams, ensuring campaign excellence and driving revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in advertising sales and account management, with specific experience working with CPG clients. You should be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, executing campaigns from start to finish, and providing strategic guidance to help brands achieve their marketing goals on our rapidly growing platform.

Location: This position requires in-person presence in our Chicago office.

Key Responsibilities

As a Client Account Manager at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring campaign success. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Client Partners to meet and exceed clients' marketing goals, developing comprehensive strategies that align with brand objectives

  • Campaign Execution: Lead end-to-end campaign launches, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to completion, while delivering insightful optimizations to agency and client partners

  • Account Operations: Manage ongoing internal account operations, including revenue delivery tracking and troubleshooting any issues that arise

  • Client Education: Educate brands and media agencies about our platform's unique value proposition, effectively communicating our advertising capabilities and best practices

  • Strategic Consulting: Consult with clients on both awareness and direct response objectives, partnering closely with Client Partners to craft thoughtful and creative media plans

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Ad Operations teams to ensure effective campaign delivery and resolve any technical hurdles

  • Advocacy: Recognize and represent client needs and requests to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring client voices are heard at all levels

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively and continually identify areas of improvement in processes, campaigns, and client satisfaction

Required Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring a combination of experience, skills, and attributes:


  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in advertising sales and account management, with specific experience working with CPG clients preferred

  • Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of the customer marketing funnel and traditional marketing ecosystem

  • Analytical Skills: Comfortable addressing problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors

  • Digital Expertise: Understanding of digital measurement, tracking fundamentals, and mobile measurement partners

  • Problem-Solving Approach: Tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to working through product, process, and client challenges

  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to cultivate strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and unstructured work environment

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of campaign management

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel preferred

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Previous experience in digital advertising platforms or tech companies
