Position Overview

As a Senior Operations Analyst at arenaflex, you will serve as a key contributor to our ACS Resource Planning team, responsible for analyzing operational and staffing metrics that support both operational and financial performance. You will leverage your analytical skills to develop predictive models, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide strategic insights that help arenaflex deliver world-class customer service while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Operations Analyst, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that challenge your analytical abilities and strategic thinking:

Predictive Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain predictive models and forecasts to proactively anticipate ACS staffing needs. You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional ACS divisions to ensure your models accurately reflect operational realities and support strategic planning initiatives.

Resource Utilization Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations into resource usage patterns and identify opportunities for more optimal and efficient solutions. Your insights will help streamline operations and maximize productivity across the organization.

Performance Reporting: Create comprehensive reports related to the performance of resource planning initiatives. You will present your findings to leadership, including senior executives, ensuring transparency and accountability in our operational strategies.

Industry Trend Analysis: Stay current with the latest trends in ACS resource planning and aviation operations. Your research will inform best practices and innovative approaches that keep arenaflex at the forefront of the industry.

Data Sourcing & Integration: Identify and extract data from various sources for use in analysis, modeling, and project development. You will continuously seek new data sources and develop fundamental analytical models that enhance our understanding of operational dynamics.

Analytical Model Development: Utilize descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytical techniques to highlight business challenges, propose potential solutions, and articulate relevant tradeoffs to stakeholders.

Advanced Analytics: Develop new strategic analytical models or refine existing ones to improve forecasting accuracy and operational insights. Your work will directly inform resource allocation decisions.

Data Visualization & Storytelling: Transform complex data into meaningful insights using data visualization and analytical storytelling techniques. You will make data accessible and actionable for diverse audiences.

Complex Reporting: Develop intricate reports and analyses with guidance from organizational leaders. Your deliverables will support strategic decision-making at the highest levels.

Process Improvement & Project Management: Support complex process improvement and project management initiatives for both individual business units and cross-divisional programs. You will drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Executive Presentations: Present findings to OAP and business unit leaders, including senior executives. Your ability to communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively will be crucial to your success.

Internal Consultation: Act as an internal subject matter expert to partners across the organization, providing insights that drive results and foster continuous improvement.

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with analytical tools, including SQL, Python, and Tableau is required. You must be comfortable working with large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.

Business Acumen: Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex processes involving cross-functional teams.

Communication Skills: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills. You must be capable of producing concise, relevant, strategically sound documents and presentations for senior leaders.
