  • *About the Role**

We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us drive business value through data-driven insights. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our Media business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Product, and Engineering, to ensure that our data solutions meet the needs of our business stakeholders.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and systems using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
  • Collaborate with Data Science teams to develop and deploy data models and machine learning algorithms
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and other programming languages
  • Design and implement data governance and quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and delivery
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure that data systems are scalable, secure, and highly available
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
  • Strong experience with Python and SQL, with a focus on cloud-based databases such as Snowflake and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience with source control systems such as GitLab and GitHub
  • Strong understanding of data governance and quality control principles
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
  • Proficiency in cloud design and deployment using AWS
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and design principles
