Position Overview


We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to support our Lead Marketing and Operations team in the United States, with specific responsibility for accounting and reporting for our European entity. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a dedicated billing team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial processes while collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex financial processes, implementing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and international accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly Close Coordination: Prepare and oversee the monthly close process for financing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established timelines and accounting standards.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Provide funding for regulatory requirements and manage associated costs, exams, and any financial losses or adjustments in accordance with international accounting regulations.

  • Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct detailed analysis focusing on current financial processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.

Essential Qualifications


To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in international finance and accounting, with demonstrable experience in a senior accounting or financial management capacity. The ideal candidate will have:


  • International Finance Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of international finances and familiarity with the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Internal Controls Experience: Strong understanding of financial management and internal controls, including SOX 404 compliance requirements. Experience implementing and maintaining robust control environments is essential.
