• Conduct Comprehensive Analyses: Perform in-depth investigations using advanced analytical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities within our vast datasets. Your work will generate data-driven, strategic insights that inform key business decisions.
• Develop High-Impact Solutions: Create actionable recommendations based on your findings. Translate complex data into clear, understandable insights that drive measurable business outcomes and support organizational growth.
• Communicate Findings Effectively: Present your discoveries with clarity and compelling observations. Tailor your communication style to various audiences—from technical stakeholders to executive leadership—ensuring your insights resonate and inspire action.
• Build Self-Service Tools: Design, develop, and maintain flexible self-service dashboards and tools that align with broader departmental objectives. Empower cross-functional partners to access data independently and identify meaningful insights without dependency.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Act as a thought partner with Product, Engineering, and Design teams. Identify areas of opportunity, define and implement tracking frameworks for our toolset, and influence prioritization decisions with robust data evidence.
• Mentor and Coach: Guide departmental colleagues on analytical best practices, technical skills, and emerging trends in our organization's data infrastructure. Share your expertise to elevate the entire team's capabilities.
• Drive Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies within the analytics function.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. Here's what we consider essential for success in this role:

Essential Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, or another quantitatively and technically rigorous field is required.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, preferably in business analysis, strategy, startup/tech environments, or marketing analytics.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL/ETL, Google Cloud Platform, and Excel/Google Sheets. You should be comfortable querying large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
• Data Visualization: Experience with visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Looker, or similar platforms. Ability to create intuitive, informative dashboards that tell compelling stories with data.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to work with data from multiple sources to solve complex problems, articulate findings, and influence overall strategy.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to tailor your communication style based on your audience—whether presenting to technical teams or C-suite executives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Python/Git is preferred but not required. We're open to candidates willing to learn and expand their technical toolkit.
• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis
• Background in e-commerce, retail, or marketplace analytics
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their business applications
