Position Overview: Remote Customer Service Representative
As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for many of our valued clients. This is a critical role because first impressions matter—and in the Medicare industry, they matter even more. Our clients are often navigating complex healthcare decisions during a vulnerable time in their lives, and you will be there to provide reassurance, guidance, and exceptional service with every interaction.
Important Note: This is NOT a sales position. You will not be responsible for cold calling, closing deals, or pushing insurance products. Your role is purely focused on delivering outstanding customer support, answering questions, and helping clients navigate our systems and services. If you are seeking a commission-based sales role, this position may not be the right fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities as a Remote Customer Service Representative will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls from clients in a professional, friendly, and confident manner—serving as the primary creator of first impressions for our company
- Providing exceptional customer support to Medicare beneficiaries, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns with patience and empathy
- Entering and managing data accurately across multiple online systems and platforms

Essential Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of tenure at a single company in your work history—demonstrating loyalty, stability, and commitment
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally at all times
- Exceptionally friendly and outgoing personality that shines through in every phone interaction
- Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping others
- Technical proficiency—you must be comfortable navigating computers, the internet, and various software applications
- Patience and empathy when working with the 65+ age demographic, understanding that many clients may need additional time and explanation

- A quiet, distraction-free home office equipped with a reliable PC or MAC computer and high-speed internet connection

Work Environment and Expectations
At arenaflex, we take our remote work culture seriously. We expect all team members to approach this position with the same professionalism and dedication as they would bring to a traditional office setting. Here is what you need to know about our work environment:
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (40 hours per week)
- Time Zone Flexibility: If you are located in a different time zone, you must be willing to convert and commit to our Eastern Time work hours
- Video Chat Environment: Our entire team works together on video chat throughout the day. This approach fosters collaboration, accountability, and a genuine sense of belonging—while allowing for quick communication as we work through daily tasks
- Home Office Requirements: You must have a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions. This is NOT a position where you can work while caring for children, tending to household responsibilities, or multitasking in a chaotic environment. Think of this as working in a traditional office—you are expected to be focused, present, and professional throughout your shift
- Training: All training will be provided on-the-job and you will be paid for your training time
Compensation and Benefits
We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package to our team members:
- Annual Pay: $40,000.00 per year (W-2 employee with taxes withheld)
- Job Type: Full-time, permanent position
- Paid Time Off (PTO):
- Starting immediately: 2 hours of PTO earned per pay period
- After 1 year: 40 hours of PTO per year
- After 3 years: 80 hours of PTO per year
- After 6 years: 120 hours of PTO per year
- After 10 years: 160 hours of PTO per year
