About the Netfx Team

The Netfx team is a growing cross-functional visual effects (VFX) initiative built on arenaflex's innovative platform. We optimize the pairing of talent to responsibilities, executing high-volume global projects that ensure our members experience the best version of every show, movie, and series. Our extensive ecosystem encompasses VFX companies and artists throughout the post-production environment, making us a dynamic and fast-paced team at the forefront of entertainment technology.

As an intern on the Netfx team, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating departmental needs while participating in a comprehensive training and development program designed to equip you with the essential skill sets needed to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in enterprise analytics – regardless of the domain.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be immersed in real-world projects that directly impact our global operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Marketplace Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of current transactional digital marketplaces to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.


• Industry Research: Research and analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes for international marketplaces, providing actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.


• Strategic Support: Offer insights and recommendations based on your market analysis to support senior team members in developing competitive pricing strategies.


• Financial Modeling: Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess potential scenarios for growth and optimization.


• Forecasting & Budgeting: Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures that support overall financial planning efforts across the organization.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across departments to understand business operations holistically and identify synergies.


• Presentation & Communication: Participate in meetings and presentations to share your findings and recommendations with senior leadership and stakeholders.


• Data Entry & Documentation: Support the team with accurate data entry tasks, maintaining organized records and documentation systems.


• Live Chat Support: Assist with live chat customer service operations, ensuring positive interactions with our internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

• Interest in working within the film and entertainment industry


• Strong interest in global marketplace analysis and platform (buyer/seller) dynamics


• Must reside in the Los Angeles area during the internship period (relocation and housing assistance may be provided if applicable)


• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with software programs including Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)


• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment


• Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative to work independently


• Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment


• Eagerness to learn new technologies and workflows


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion when handling sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous coursework or projects related to business analytics, economics, or market research


• Basic understanding of financial statements and metrics


• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Experience with project management or coordination roles
