The Role: IT Business Analyst – IT Offices

As an IT Business Analyst within our IT Offices Group, you will be responsible for providing expert IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports our airport communication domains. This position is essential to maintaining seamless operations across our vast network, and you'll be working with cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment.

Our IT Offices Group is the backbone of our technological infrastructure, overseeing site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance strategies, and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certificate labs, and remote communication room climate control equipment. You'll be instrumental in supporting IT labs that enable our client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware, and access to test their applications—directly contributing to innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


  • Infrastructure Management: Lead IT administration of all site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance strategies, and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certificate labs, and remote communication room climate control equipment

  • Laboratory Support: Provide IT support for IT labs to align client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware, and testing access

  • Remote Coordination: Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms

  • Operations & Monitoring: Manage, operate, support, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for data centers and remote communication room equipment

  • Standards Development: Develop data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure

  • Network Integrity: Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of airport and campus facilities underground fiber ring infrastructure

  • Policy Implementation: Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, regulations, and procedures while ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards

  • Project Management: Lead project management for data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements

  • Vendor Management: Select IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, securing best prices for products and services, and guaranteeing vendor contractual obligations are met

  • Capital Planning: Perform capital forecasting and project management for airport critical equipment lifecycle replacement

  • Corporate Collaboration: Support Corporate Real Estate projects involving remote communication room design/work as an IT Offices representative and on-site assessment reporting

  • Capacity Management: Manage space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity

  • System Design: Oversee the design, implementation, and vendor support of electrical power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs for communication rooms

  • Incident Management: Provide proactive and break-fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, labs, and data center equipment

  • Operational Sustainability: Ensure operational sustainability of airport critical environmental systems

  • Standards Creation: Develop Design Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems

  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate airport critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities remotely

  • Documentation Review: Review/Store Maintenance Records and ensure errors are remediated

  • Remote Support: Provide remote Incident Management resolution for airport critical equipment, as well as remote installation, configuration, and operational support

  • Change Control: Maintain strict adherence to change control activities

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications (Required)


  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers

  • Knowledge of data center technology and critical facilities infrastructure

  • Project management experience for remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements

  • Capital forecasting and project management experience for airport critical equipment lifecycle replacement

  • Experience supporting Corporate Real Estate projects as an IT representative with on-site assessment capabilities

  • Space, UPS Power, and critical cooling capacity management expertise

  • Vendor selection skills with ability to ensure accurate documentation and cost-effective procurement

  • Experience managing design, implementation, and vendor support for electrical power, HVAC, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs

  • Ability to provide proactive and break-fix support for alarm/ticket remediation

  • Capability to ensure operational sustainability of airport critical environmental systems

  • Experience developing Design Standards for remote communication spaces and critical systems

  • Remote coordination skills for airport critical infrastructure maintenance

  • Documentation review and error remediation capabilities

  • Remote incident management and resolution skills

  • Remote installation, configuration, and operational support expertise

  • Strict adherence to change control processes

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints

  • Flexibility to support operations with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Competitive Edge)


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • Five or more years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or critical facilities

  • IT Project Management Experience (minimum 3 years) within a high-availability communication room and/or data center operating environment

  • Hands-on experience with daily operational requirements and operation of production systems and equipment

  • Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, BICSI, or equivalent

  • Experience with airport or transportation infrastructure technology systems
