With more than 5 million surveys received from clients each year across our Consumer, Business, and Service Provider divisions, our Customer Listening team manages the end-to-end Voice of the Customer technique. This comprehensive program includes the design and programming of customer experience surveys, with over 40 research studies translated into more than 10 languages and deployed in over 20 countries worldwide. As our Senior Statistics Architect, you'll play a critical role in transforming and innovating this end-to-end customer voice methodology.

What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Statistics Architect at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities that directly impact how we understand and serve our customers. Your days will be filled with challenging and rewarding work that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in customer analytics.


  • Lead the Development and Maintenance: You'll help develop and maintain our new Voice of the Customer technique, sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with our survey and dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics, our premier survey vendor.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You'll work closely with product and process owners, subject matter specialists from Qualtrics, and our agile technology teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of customer insights.
  • Define Business Requirements: You'll partner closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture comprehensive business needs, translating them into actionable technical requirements.
  • Build Voice of the Customer Expertise: You'll develop deep knowledge of Voice of the Customer methodologies and leverage this expertise to transform data within our Cornerstone Big Data platform.
  • Design Robust Data Architecture: You'll layout and build sturdy data model architecture to support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the organization.
  • Enable Big Data Analytics: You'll deliver big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python, ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
  • Drive Efficiency Improvements: You'll offer technical guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using our massive data ecosystem.
  • Power Consumer Story Analysis: You'll lead consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and create automation tools that streamline processes.
  • Automate Manual Tasks: You'll proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency across the team.
  • Partner with Global Teams: You'll work closely with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of our comprehensive VOC end-to-end technique.

Essential Qualifications:


  • Hands-On Development Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell Scripting languages.
  • Release Management Expertise: Strong understanding of development release management and troubleshooting for data-driven projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven experience actively collaborating with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery, where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.
  • Big Data Ecosystem Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of big data technologies and their practical applications in enterprise environments.
  • Data Architecture Skills: Experience designing and implementing robust data models that support efficient processing and analysis.
  • Quality Assurance Mindset: Strong focus on data quality and accuracy, with experience in testing at variable and use case levels.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and integration with survey tools like Qualtrics

  • Background in financial services or customer experience analytics

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and visualization techniques

  • Experience with real-time data processing frameworks
