As a Provider Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving and validating provider information from external sources to update our system. Your role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate provider records, which is essential for our operations.

  • Assist with system-related testing activities

  • Prior experience in a medical office setting, specifically in provider credentialing or a related position
  • Experience in claims, coding, or credentialing is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strict adherence to Managed Care Organization policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Reliable attendance by the agreed-upon schedule
  • Thorough understanding of and compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers
  • *Required Education and Experience**
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • 1+ years of managed care experience and medical office experience with coding or credentialing
  • At least one year of medical office experience is required
