  • *Job Summary**

As a Network Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring minimal downtime across our organization by proactively investigating network issues and collaborating with our vendors to drive towards service restoration. You'll work closely with our IT team to identify and resolve network-related problems, provide technical guidance and support to our employees, and contribute to the development of our IT infrastructure and operations.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Arranges and coordinates the deployment of Cisco equipment
  • Reviews and processes Organization Trucks satisfaction requests
  • Supports and coordinates Organization Trucks project tasks
  • Attends scheduled training to ensure ability to support existing and future state network conditions, including Stockroom, Terminal, Server farm, Provincial Office, Colocation, and Cloud
  • Grasps ITIL/Trucks incident, problem, change, information, and request processes
  • Suggests or implements enhancements for team processes and procedures
  • Ensures that incident documentation is thorough, accurate, and complete
  • Provides guidance and direction to clients, teams, and other support personnel regarding daily activities, project drives, network activities, and support issues
  • Builds and maintains helpful, collaborative, effective relationships
  • Provides responses to clients by identifying issues, exploring solutions, and guiding clients through remedial actions
  • Provides essential technical support and ensures compliance to established rules and procedures for monitoring performance
  • Resolves issues in LAN framework, testing, and designing software
  • Assesses network performance to improve the organization
  • Plans upgrades and maintenance without disrupting business workflow
  • Provides technical guidance and delivers network framework training to colleagues
  • Works with vendors to obtain required hardware for the organizations and frameworks
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network transmission and switching framework issues while minimizing impact on client service
  • Distinguishes between primary and secondary network failures
  • Works the Network Support episode line, including opening, focusing, investigating, following-up, advising, raising, conveying, recording, and attracting extra resources on a case-by-case basis for incident resolution
  • Answers and contributes to Arrange Support hotline calls to assist end clients and minimize business interruption
  • Answers Network Support email requests and demands
  • Works out Network Support proactive daily task list
  • Delegates assigned tasks in Smartsheet
  • Leads and participates in weekly team meetings
  • Opens and monitors Cisco TAC cases on defective Cisco hardware and tracks the entire process
  • Reviews and directs corporate office data wardrobes
  • *Requirements**
  • Essential understanding of Ethernet, Fiber, Casing Transfer, AVPN, ISDN, Dedicated IP, and Steering protocols
  • Essential knowledge of network equipment and software, including switches, routers, and wireless controllers
  • Essential understanding of subnetting, VLANs, and network geography
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, phone behavior, and customer service skills
  • High-level skills in investigation and analysis with incidents and issues
  • Experience or understanding of ITIL/Trucks incident, problem, change, information, and request processes
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and positive, developed, professional attitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Process-oriented, understands the benefits of processes, and the need for consistency
  • Ability to explain or convey technical terms to non-technical audiences
  • Effectively searches for, suggests, or implements enhancements for team processes and procedures
  • Able to work well under pressure and within time constraints
  • Innovative, creative, and very responsive with a strong desire to keep moving
  • Cooperative person and works collaboratively with others, sharing ideas, working together, and ultimately putting team objectives first
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills to comply with tight time constraints
  • A strong understanding of Google Suite
  • Periodic travel may be required
  • Willing to assist off-hours work as required, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Great understanding of Costco business warehouse and stop hardware
  • Essential knowledge of Organization checking tools to aid issue prevention and resolution
  • Reading up for or have CCNA certification
  • Organizing degree
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Knowledge of pre-arranging languages (Python, Google Applications Content, etc.)
