Position Overview
arenaflex is currently seeking a talented and dedicated English Language Arts Tutor to join our educational team in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the surrounding areas including Signal Mountain and Hixson. This is a part-time position ideal for experienced educators, retired teachers, graduate students, or professionals seeking flexible work arrangements who possess a strong background in language arts, reading, and writing instruction.
As an English Language Arts Tutor at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in helping students develop essential literacy skills that will serve them throughout their academic careers and beyond. You will work one-on-one with students at the middle school and high school levels, providing personalized instruction that addresses their unique learning needs, strengthens their understanding of literary concepts, and builds their confidence as readers and writers.

Key Responsibilities

- Creating Engaging Lesson Plans: Develop well-structured, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with students' academic goals, curriculum standards, and individual learning styles. Each session should include clear objectives, engaging activities, and opportunities for practice and reinforcement.
- Supporting Homework and Test Preparation: Assist students with completing homework assignments, preparing for upcoming tests, and developing effective study strategies. Help students understand difficult concepts and build confidence in their academic abilities.

Essential Qualifications
