Position Overview
The Client Relationship Analyst serves as the single point of contact for our clients and is accountable for maintaining strong relationships while addressing their everyday needs. This position requires a professional who can seamlessly manage client interactions, drive program advancement opportunities, and ensure the highest level of service is consistently delivered. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, and possessing the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
This role also involves being the voice of the client within arenaflex, representing client perspectives to internal teams including IT, Stores, Legal, Sales, and executive leadership. You will be instrumental in translating client requirements into actionable insights that improve our 340B program offerings and enhance overall client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen client relationships by providing responsive services that address client concerns and exceed their expectations. Serve as the knowledgeable authority on 340B program advancement opportunities.
- Issue Resolution: Own the end-to-end resolution of client inquiries and issues while demonstrating professionalism and delivering the highest level of service consistently. Ensure each interaction results in a positive client experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Utilize cross-functional support teams to request and interpret various data streams. Communicate business results and trends that relate to client performance and overall 340B program effectiveness.
- Process Improvement: Gather client feedback and develop process improvement solutions. Recommend system enhancements that streamline operations and improve client outcomes.
- Client Education: Instruct clients on reporting changes and guide them through transitions. Analyze client requirements to develop more effective reporting solutions that meet their evolving needs.
- Audit Support: Provide essential support to clients during 340B audits by explaining data movement through various systems. Participate in client audit processes, offering assistance both onsite and remotely.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions, including details, complaints, comments, and actions taken. Contact clients to answer inquiries or inform them of investigation results and planned changes.
- Internal Partnership Development: Create and nurture working relationships with internal partners across departments including IT, Stores, Legal, and Sales to facilitate productive information exchanges.
- Program Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of the 340B program. Continuously work to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of the healthcare and pharmacy services industry. Utilize industry insights to identify ways to improve the 340B program and recommend innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma/GED with two (2) years of client or account relationship experience.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving moderate to complex business issues. Ability to recommend and implement effective solutions to resolve problems efficiently.
- Self-Direction: Experience developing approaches to achieving goals and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently, complete objectives, and determine when issues require escalation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills (telephone, one-on-one, and group presentations) and excellent written communication (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences including work groups, team members, company management, and external clients.
- Customer Service Excellence: Experience providing customer service to both internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
- Presentation Skills: Experience developing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences with confidence and professionalism.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Microsoft Excel: Fundamental level including opening workbooks, inserting rows, selecting fonts and sizes, formatting cells as currency, using copy/paste/save functions, text alignment, renaming worksheets, inserting columns, selecting outline styles, inserting worksheets, setting margins, selecting page orientation, and using spell check/printing.
- Microsoft PowerPoint: Fundamental level including inserting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list levels, adding/editing/centering text, changing views, inserting tables or notes, moving items, printing outline view, and running slide shows.
- Microsoft Word: Fundamental level including opening documents, cutting/pasting/aligning text, selecting font types and sizes, changing margins and column widths, sorting, inserting shots/images/dates, using find/replace, spell check, track changes, reviewing sheets, and print capabilities.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes, both within state and out of state.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with at least two (2) years of client/customer service experience OR High School Diploma with two (2) years of client or account relationship experience.
- Experience working in a client or account management environment.
- Healthcare industry experience, including familiarity with 340B programs, pharmacy operations, hospital systems, clinics, or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device customer support role.
