Position Overview: Actuarial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Rate Filing: Organize and analyze filing data with precision and accuracy. Prepare and submit essential documentation for regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of documentation quality.
• Reserve Analysis: Examine claim data with a critical eye and monitor reserve levels for appropriateness. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of actuarial reserving methods and issues, providing recommendations that ensure financial stability and regulatory compliance.
• Planning and Forecasting: Provide technical support and analytical expertise for the planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. Your analytical prowess will help shape the financial direction of the organization and support strategic decision-making across departments.
• Pricing, Trend and Benefit Design: Develop and recommend pricing strategies and trends for products and benefits. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design competitive benefit packages that meet customer needs while maintaining organizational profitability.
• Technical Capability: Foster innovative technical solutions for various business challenges. Demonstrate proficiency with spreadsheets and knowledge of databases and online applications.
