PeopleSoft Financials & myCalPERS Support Analyst

CalPERS is the nation’s largest public pension fund, providing retirement and health benefits to public employees. The PeopleSoft Financials & myCalPERS Support Analyst will act as a liaison between financial and IT services, performing analysis and testing to ensure successful implementation of financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services and Information Technology Services branch for business and accounting processes in the PeopleSoft Financials and myCalPERS systems
• Performs analysis on various Business Rules Specifications and Requirement documents
• Performs User Acceptance Testing of financial transactions to ensure successful implementation of new or modified system functionality

Skills

• Self-motivated Associate Accounting Analyst (Accounting Systems) with accounting and analysis skills
• Acts as a liaison between the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services and Information Technology Services branch for business and accounting processes in the PeopleSoft Financials and myCalPERS systems
• Performs analysis on various Business Rules Specifications and Requirement documents
• Performs User Acceptance Testing of financial transactions to ensure successful implementation of new or modified system functionality
