As an HR Compliance Analyst, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our organization's legal and regulatory compliance by conducting thorough research, analyzing complex requirements, and communicating effectively with various stakeholders. What You'll Do
As an HR Compliance Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Compliance team and Operations with a wide range of duties, including:
- **Background Investigation Support**: You'll be responsible for obtaining and processing fingerprint and background investigation results, as well as maintaining meticulous records of all fingerprint clearance letters. This includes managing sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy.
- **Regulatory Agency Relationships**: You'll develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key regulatory agencies, including the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Airport Authority Boards, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and U.S. Postal Services. Your ability to communicate effectively with these agencies will be essential to ensuring seamless compliance operations.
- **Documentation Management**: You'll handle faxing and scanning of U.S. Customs results, ensuring all documentation is properly filed, organized, and easily accessible for future reference. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate records.
- **Database Management**: You'll process daily FBI fingerprints into our Access database system, meticulously reviewing and investigating any database issues that may arise. This requires advanced technical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**: You'll prepare and analyze HR Compliance data across various files, working closely with HRIS and EC systems to ensure data integrity. In this role, you'll conduct advanced investigations, create custom reports and dashboards, and normalize all data used for HR Compliance purposes.
- **Quality Assurance**: You'll review completed Fingerprint Applications for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all information meets federal requirements. When necessary, you'll retransmit fingerprints to the TSA Clearinghouse, following strict protocols to maintain compliance.
- **Collaboration**: You'll work closely with clients and team members on a regular basis, providing support, guidance, and expertise to ensure smooth operations. Your ability to work well in a team environment will be essential to your success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you should bring:
- **Educational Background**: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required. Relevant fields of study may include Human Resources, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Familiarity with Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) processes and procedures is highly preferred. This foundational knowledge will help you hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
- **Technical Systems Experience**: Prior exposure to the TSA Clearinghouse database is a plus. If you have experience working with government databases or compliance systems, you'll have a significant advantage in this role.
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- **Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills**: You should be proficient in creating complex spreadsheets, developing intricate formulas, and utilizing functions like VLOOKUP to analyze large datasets. Your ability to manipulate and interpret data will be critical to your success.
- **Advanced Microsoft Access Skills**: Experience with database management, query creation, and data manipulation in Microsoft Access is essential for this role.
- **Data Interpretation Abilities**: You must be capable of interpreting large sets of data to develop meaningful reports that drive informed decision-making. This requires both analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must. You'll need to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement improvements consistently.

- **Training and Communication**: You should be capable of educating specialty units on government requirements, internal and external processes, and outcomes. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this aspect of the role.
