Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Data Science Manager to lead our Notification Systems team within the arenaflex ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for directing a high-performing group of data scientists who are tasked with optimizing our unified notification platform across multiple channels including push notifications, badging, email, SMS, and more. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the strategy that ensures our users receive the right notification, at the right time, with the right content.

You will serve as the primary authority on data-driven decision making for notification systems, working closely with engineering, product, design, and research teams to translate complex datasets into actionable insights that shape product roadmap and enhance user satisfaction.

- Unified Notifications Platform Oversight: Assume full accountability for the centralized delivery and ranking of arenaflex notifications across all channels. - Strategic Experimentation: Design, implement, and analyze rigorous A/B tests and causal inference studies to validate product hypotheses. You will establish experimentation best practices and ensure statistical validity across all testing initiatives.
- Opportunity Identification: Lead comprehensive analysis efforts to discover new opportunities for driving consistent value to users through improvements in notification relevance, timing, and content viability. Your insights will directly shape product strategy and roadmap prioritization.

Essential Qualifications

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Product Data Science with deep expertise in experimentation methodology, statistical analysis, and causal inference.
- 3+ years of experience building, leading, and managing high-performing data science and analytics teams, including experience overseeing team managers.
- Strong working knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning techniques, and experimental design/causal inference methodologies.
