We're seeking a talented Senior Statistics Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VoC) program.

About the Role

As a Senior Statistics Architect at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing how we capture, process, and derive insights from customer feedback. You'll work closely with product owners, subject matter experts from our survey technology partners, and agile development teams to build robust data architecture that powers critical business decisions.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the development and maintenance of our innovative Voice of the Customer technology platform, sourced from our cornerstone systems and integrated with our survey and dashboard infrastructure. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge big data technologies while making a tangible difference in how arenaflex understands and serves its customers.

Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with Application Teams: Work closely with business and technical teams to define, structure, and capture comprehensive business requirements that drive our customer experience initiatives.
  • Drive Voice of the Customer Innovation: Deepen your expertise in VoC methodologies and leverage this knowledge to design and transform data infrastructure within our cornerstone Big Data platform.
  • Architect Data Solutions: Design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal data processing and establish standardized metric definitions across the organization.
  • Enable Advanced Analytics: Facilitate big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through rigorous testing.
  • Optimize Computing Performance: Provide technical guidance to enhance capabilities that drive efficiency in computing systems using our massive data ecosystem.
  • Power Consumer Story Analysis: Lead consumer narrative analysis and elaboration, design and develop software programs, and create automation tools that streamline operations.
  • Automate for Excellence: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency across the team.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data solutions for diverse use cases as part of our comprehensive VoC program.

Essential Qualifications


  • Technical Expertise: Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, Shell Scripting languages, along with release management and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to actively collaborate with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business stakeholders.
  • Data Architecture Skills: Strong background in designing and implementing data architectures that support large-scale processing and analytics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms

  • Knowledge of real-time streaming data processing frameworks

  • Background in customer experience or voice of customer programs

  • Experience working in multinational or distributed team environments

  • Understanding of data visualization tools and dashboard development
