About the Role
As a Senior Customer Success Manager at arenaflex, you will be the cornerstone of client satisfaction and relationship management. Your mission will be to ensure that our clients derive maximum value from the arenaflex platform, enabling sustainable growth of assigned client relationships. You will become a trusted advisor to our clients, providing thought leadership that positions arenaflex as a critical business partner – not just a vendor, but an indispensable extension of their success.
This role demands a strategic thinker who can balance multiple priorities, drive operational excellence, and cultivate lasting partnerships. You'll be the primary liaison with Vendor Managers running client programs, while also building secondary relationships with Director-level contacts. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional results.
What You'll Do
Client Relationship Management
- Operate and nurture the client relationship as the primary point of contact
- Build and maintain secondary relationships with Director-level client contacts
- Demonstrate how the arenaflex platform creates high-value business results through superior virtual solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance
- Ensure arenaflex is well-positioned as a critical business partner
Performance Excellence & Analytics
- Fully understand the expected financial outcomes of client contracts and the actions required to deliver them
- Anticipate when outcomes will not be met and perform deep analysis of root cause issues
- Accountable for ensuring Gross Profit margin targets are met
- Develop and maintain a detailed Monthly Action Plan
- Perform daily reviews of client scorecard performance and take immediate corrective action
- Run weekly scorecard performance reviews and roll up insights to monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Demonstrate deep proficiency with reporting, data, and trend analysis
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain constructive vendor relationships
- Facilitate resolution of exceptions to agreed-upon performance standards
- Manage vendor performance including access to data, costs, cycle time, and quality
- Establish controls, exception reporting, and regular auditing mechanisms
- Ensure vendor adherence to key contract terms
- Author vendor statements of work, including service level exhibits
- Review vendor-level metrics and vendor rankings
- Ensure vendor resources meet qualifications and performance expectations
Compliance & Quality Management
- Determine compliance to client performance expectations for all vendors
- Drive compliance and quality management initiatives
- Ensure correct SLAs are being set and met
- Undertake financial and qualitative analysis of core operations management variables
- Focus on quality and timeliness of delivery in all aspects of the role
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and supervise Managers in Customer Success
- Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration
- Lead by example in professionalism and ethical conduct
Business Growth & Innovation
- Assist the business development team in identifying new opportunities for arenaflex to garner more business
- Support the creation of new programs and value propositions
- Identify ways to expand applications and services from existing clients
- Collaborate with Business Analytics to evaluate results and prepare for client meetings
Strategic Optimization
- Ensure the forecasting process optimizes both Client and arenaflex outcomes
- Verify correct parameters are in place for real-time levers such as Urgent Service and Convenience Leave requests
- Ensure Learning delivers the correct business outcomes
- Related duties as required
- Special projects as assigned by VPGM, VP, or Director of Customer Success
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Industry Experience: Prior BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) experience required
- Work Style: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience: Three years of exempt-level managerial experience with proven client relationship management
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel 2007 (must be close to expert level)
- Core Competencies: Strong negotiating skills with demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
- Expertise: Experience with contract and vendor management
- Availability: Must have a 24/7 client engagement philosophy
- Travel: This position may require some light travel from time to time
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales or Account Management experience
- Operational experience in customer success or related field
- Advanced data analysis and visualization skills
- Experience with CRM platforms and customer success tools
- Background in virtual or distributed team management
