About This Role: Remote Customer Service Representative

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the voice of our company—interacting with students, alumni, and clients across the country via telephone, email, chat, and text. Most of your interactions will involve outbound calls to students of our corporate clients, helping them understand their repayment options and guiding them through the process of managing their educational obligations.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for:


  • Providing exceptional customer service to individuals across all of arenaflex's lines of business, including Student Enrollment Management, Alumni Placement Verification Services, and Default Management.

  • Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. The majority of your calls will be outbound, reaching out to students to provide information and support regarding their educational loans.

  • Utilizing multiple communication channels including telephone, email, chat, and text to provide timely and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries.

  • Responding professionally to all written communications within established timeframes, ensuring clarity and accuracy in every interaction.

  • Effectively utilizing our CRM system to log customer interactions, track issues, and follow through on resolutions. You'll need to be comfortable learning and navigating various technical platforms.

  • Following established escalation policies and procedures to ensure complex issues are routed to the appropriate team members for resolution.

  • Maintaining accurate customer records by updating demographic information, contact details, and documenting all interactions thoroughly in our system.

  • Initiating calls to Federal loan servicers on behalf of customers to explore and resolve repayment options for those with Federal student loans.

  • Comprehending and applying training materials across a variety of topics, including federal regulations, repayment programs, and company policies.

  • Adhering to all federal and state laws governing the education finance industry, ensuring compliance in every interaction.

  • Meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals related to call volume, customer satisfaction, and resolution times.

  • Maintaining professionalism and representing arenaflex values in every customer interaction, upholding our reputation for excellence.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • At least one year of previous customer service experience (preferred).

  • Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum requirements will be provided).

  • The ability to work remotely in one of the following states: Florida, Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, or Virginia.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple software applications.

  • The ability to troubleshoot common technical issues independently.

Training and Development

We want to set you up for success from day one. All new Remote Customer Service Representatives will receive comprehensive training during their first two weeks of employment. Training will be conducted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST. This training will cover:


  • Product and service knowledge across all arenaflex business lines

  • Customer service best practices and communication techniques

  • CRM system usage and documentation procedures

  • Federal and state regulations governing student loans

  • Compliance requirements and ethical standards

  • Performance expectations and KPI metrics

Our training program is designed to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to excel in your role. You'll be supported by experienced team members and supervisors throughout your journey at arenaflex.

Schedule and Shift Information

We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate various lifestyles and preferences. Multiple shifts are available, including both day and evening shifts.
