What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the frontline ambassador of our brand, interacting with passengers across multiple channels including phone, email, and chat. Your role is pivotal in creating positive experiences that keep travelers coming back to arenaflex. Here's what you can expect:
Passenger Service Excellence
- Deliver exceptional service to every customer, ensuring each interaction exceeds expectations
- Register customers and verify their access to exclusive clubs and lounges
- Greet customers by name whenever possible and ensure all guest experience elements are completed
- Provide guests with necessary information such as WiFi passwords and assistance
- Assist customers with luggage handling as needed
Flight Reservations & Check-In
- Process flight reservations and confirm bookings using industry-standard systems including SABRE and QIK
- Handle premium passenger check-in processes, including flight changes, rebooking, and passport verification
- Issue customer tickets for day of departure, reissues, and future travel
- Manage flight tracking for boarding schedules, delays, or disruptions to serve customer needs proactively
- Process cancellation requests for passenger reservations
- Prioritize customer needs including upgrades and standby requests
Elite Status & Premium Services
- Coordinate services for customers with elite status, including the Concierge Key program and Five Star service
- Provide specialized assistance to elite members as they navigate terminals
- Assist high-profile travelers and government officials using the KeyStar system
- Serve as the primary point of contact for premium services escalation
Club & Lounge Operations
- Maintain the appearance of club facilities through regular walk-throughs and inspections
- Coordinate with business partners to ensure food and beverage availability
- Supervise third-party service providers including catering and sanitation teams
- Assist customers with technology available in club and lounge areas
- Reserve meeting rooms for same-day travel requirements
- Coordinate services for gatherings held in conference facilities
- Complete opening and closing procedures for club and lounge locations
- Conduct liquor inventory audits in collaboration with beverage partners at select locations
Problem Resolution & Administration
- Resolve client travel difficulties promptly and efficiently
- Escalate complex issues to premium services support teams when necessary
- Document customer issues in the Passenger Name Record (PNR) system
- Perform club enrollment and sales operations, including Admiral's Club memberships and credit card subscriptions
- Utilize various internal resources and systems during customer contacts
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Follow corporate policies, procedures, and performance expectations
- Adhere to all federal regulations including DOT, FAA, and TSA guidelines
- Wear uniforms in accordance with business regulations
- Complete all required job-related training programs
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
What You'll Need to Succeed: Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Ability to pass an FAA criminal background check for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)
- Ability to obtain proper airport authorization and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- Capability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to report to designated locations on time as scheduled, including obligatory overtime obligations
- Strong professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience in hospitality or travel settings
- Experience in the travel or airline industry
- Bilingual language capabilities (required at some locations)
- Proficiency with computer systems and software
- Experience with reservation systems such as SABRE
