What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the voice of our company – and sometimes, the hero that saves the day for a worried pet parent. Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Customer Engagement: Connect directly with customers via phone who reach out for various reasons – from helping them find the perfect food for their new puppy to recommending that ideal chew toy for an aggressive chewer, or even troubleshooting issues when something doesn't go as planned.

  • Problem Resolution: Research, analyze, and implement appropriate solutions for customers. Think proactively to anticipate needs and set follow-ups to ensure complete resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • Active Listening: Operate with understanding, patience, and empathy. Listen attentively to both customers and team members to ensure everyone feels heard and valued.

  • Continuous Learning: Embrace a growth mindset by giving and receiving feedback constructively. Participate in training sessions and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

  • Team Collaboration: Engage with teammates, your direct manager, and colleagues across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams. Contribute to our customer-centric culture of teamwork and shared success.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, solutions provided, and follow-up actions taken to ensure seamless continuity of care.

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, we need someone who brings the right combination of skills, experience, and attitude. Here's what we're looking for:


  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a customer service role. Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or call center environments is a plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You must demonstrate strong listening skills in our written assessment.

  • Multitasking Abilities: Comfortable maintaining a conversation on the phone while simultaneously navigating computer systems, taking notes, and researching information.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills with the ability to rapidly navigate multiple systems, conduct internet searches, and enter data accurately.

  • Adaptability: Ability to pivot and adjust to changing business needs, priorities, and processes.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed by the business unit.

  • Confidentiality: Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost security.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

  • Location: Must reside within 90 miles of Hollywood, Florida, to be eligible for this position.

Technical Requirements

Since this is a remote position, we need to ensure you have the right setup to provide excellent customer service from your home office:


  • Workspace: A dedicated work area large enough to accommodate computer monitors, free from distractions, and without background noise that could impact the customer experience.

  • Webcam Readiness: Your work area must be suitable for webcam use during team meetings and collaborations.

  • Internet Connection: A reliable wired, high-speed internet connection with download speeds of 30 Mbps or higher and upload speeds of 10 Mbps or higher. You can test your speed at speedtest.net or contact your service provider.

  • Equipment: We will provide the computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam – you just need to provide the high-speed internet.

  • Two-Factor Authentication: You must have a cell phone or tablet capable of receiving two-factor authentication through Okta Verify. This can be a smartphone with the Okta mobile app or a cell phone that can receive SMS messages and phone calls.
