We are currently seeking dedicated Customer Care Representatives to join our growing team. This is a work-from-home position that requires you to reside in the beautiful state of Rhode Island. As a Customer Care Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the voice of our organization and the first point of contact for many individuals seeking essential healthcare transportation services. Primary Responsibilities


  • Inbound Call Management: Handle incoming calls from members, clients, and healthcare facilities with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. You'll be the friendly voice that greets callers and guides them through our services.

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Book, schedule, and manage transportation requests for individuals who need rides to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other healthcare-related destinations.

  • Problem Resolution: Address concerns, resolve issues, and troubleshoot challenges that arise during the transportation booking process. You'll use your critical thinking skills to find solutions that work for everyone involved.

  • Information Verification: Accurately collect and verify member information, including pickup locations, destinations, appointment times, and special requirements to ensure precise coordination.

  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all interactions, updates, and service requests in our customer relationship management systems.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Residency: Must currently reside in the State of Rhode Island. This is a non-negotiable requirement due to the nature of our service area and regulatory considerations.
  • Call Center Experience: Minimum of one year of professional call center experience is required. This experience should demonstrate your ability to handle high-volume calls, manage customer interactions, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: At least six months of dedicated customer service experience is required. You should have a proven track record of providing exceptional service and building positive relationships with customers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic typing skills and computer experience with excellent navigational abilities across multiple software platforms and applications.
  • Internet Requirements: High-speed internet access is mandatory. You must have a reliable connection such as Cable, DSL, or Fiber with a minimum upload speed of 3 Mbps and a minimum download speed of 30 Mbps. Please note that wireless and WiFi "air cards" are prohibited for security and reliability reasons.
  • Home Office Setup: A quiet, dedicated space within your home that is free of distractions is essential for taking incoming calls professionally and maintaining focus throughout your shift.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in healthcare, medical transportation, or related service industries

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality best practices

  • Familiarity with scheduling software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

  • Bilingual capabilities (especially Spanish or Portuguese, given Rhode Island's diverse population)

  • Previous experience in a remote or work-from-home environment
