Position Overview
We are currently seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Call Center Customer Service Representatives. This is a fully remote position based in Jacksonville, Florida, where you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, handling incoming calls and providing exceptional support to both potential and existing customers.
This position begins as a month-long contract with the possibility of extension based on performance. Top-performing representatives may have the opportunity to continue with arenaflex for up to a year or longer, with potential for permanent placement and career advancement within our organization.
Schedule and Work Hours
We offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate different availability needs. Representatives can choose between two schedule patterns:
- Sunday through Thursday
- Tuesday through Saturday
All shifts run from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time, with the understanding that daily schedules will end no later than 10:00 PM Eastern Time. This schedule provides excellent work-life balance while allowing us to serve our customers during peak business hours.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Answering Incoming Calls: Respond promptly and courteously to all incoming customer calls, delivering exceptional customer service on every interaction. You will be the voice of arenaflex and the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance.
- Customer Engagement: Engage actively with callers to understand their concerns, questions, and requirements through effective questioning techniques. Build rapport and establish trust with customers by demonstrating active listening skills and genuine interest in their needs.
- Information Provision: Provide accurate, up-to-date information about our products, services, and policies. Ensure that all details shared with customers are correct and aligned with company guidelines.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities. When necessary, direct customers to the appropriate department or team member while ensuring a smooth handoff and follow-up.
- Documentation and Logging: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions using our computer systems and applications. Log call details, customer information, issues raised, and resolutions provided to ensure comprehensive documentation.
- System Navigation: Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. This includes our customer relationship management (CRM) software, phone systems, and internal databases.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to all quality standards and guidelines established by arenaflex. Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor to enhance the overall customer experience during all phone interactions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and quality reviews to continuously improve your skills and performance. Stay updated on product changes, new policies, and best practices in customer service.
Technical Requirements
Since this is a fully remote position, candidates must meet the following technical requirements to ensure they can perform their duties effectively:
- Equipment: You must supply all of your own equipment, including a computer, monitor, and headset compatible with Avaya for incoming customer interactions.
- Software Installation: Ability to allow required software, including virtual Softphone for calls, to be uploaded to your personal computer. You should be comfortable with software installation processes and have administrative access to your device.
- Internet Connection: Reliable internet service with a minimum upload and download speed of 25mbps, confirmed through a speed test. The connection must be stable and consistent throughout your work hours.
- Hardware Specifications: Minimum hardware specifications including a Core i3 processor with 16GB of RAM and Windows 10 operating system. Your computer must be capable of running multiple applications simultaneously without performance issues.
- Wired Connection: Must have a modem connection and be hardwired to the computer via an Ethernet cable. WIFI connections are not permitted for this position due to reliability and security concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
- Residency in Jacksonville, Florida is mandatory for this position.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure and professionalism.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously.
- A customer-centric mindset with a genuine desire to assist and support customers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that ends no later than 10 PM Eastern Time.

- Prior experience with Avaya phone systems or similar customer service platforms.
