As a Part-Time Customer Care Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP.
  • Resolving customer inquiries successfully through the use of multiple customer support tools, including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate.
  • Maintaining world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics.
  • Identifying and seeking to continuously exceed service requirements of business units by building and managing relationships with customers and contacts at each unit.
  • Establishing and maintaining world-class customer relations by developing a rapport and actively listening to gain more information where necessary.
  • Providing consultative support and recommendations to customers.
  • Identifying and evaluating opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations.
  • Keeping information confidential and sustaining satisfaction by suggesting alternatives to out-of-stock or limited quantity items and informing customers of available deals, etc.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor.
  • *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs.
  • No previous experience required, but a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion, as well as customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Experience in the consumer products or distribution industry.
