- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Process transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including counters, shelves, and stock areas
- Assist with inventory management, including checking in and pricing stock, and maintaining accurate records
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Supervisor, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, and filling prescriptions
- Report any medication errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to organization policies and procedures regarding medication errors and the Quality Improvement Program
- Handle calls that do not require individual attention from the pharmacist, including those to doctors
- Process manual claims for outside program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Assist with stock management activities, including ordering, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
- Maintain knowledge of organization resource security methods, and record claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, request errors, or damaged products, including Rx medications
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances (e.g., cocktails and tobacco products)
- Build and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and super displays, and finish resets and corrections as assigned
- Assist with the division of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and item placement as determined by strategies/methods (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
- Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital identification photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sell of special photo items
- Take on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles requests (picks items), and conveys requests to clients as they arrive at the store)
- Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a perfect, clean, and deliberate store condition and appearance
- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues
- Complete special tasks and other assignments as assigned
- *Essential Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
- Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Knowledge of store stock control
- PTCB certification
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems and equipment
