<p class="MsoNormal">We are currently hiring a full time, <span> </span><strong>Market Manager</strong><span> for </span><strong>Arkansas</strong>.<span> </span><i>The ideal candidate will live in Northwestern Arkansas, Fayetteville, Rogers Bentonville or, alternatively, Little Rock.</i></p><p class="MsoNormal">The <strong>Market Manager</strong> (MM) is responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned distributor territory through direct selling and wholesaler management to generate depletion growth. Creating a value-added wholesaler relationship within all levels of their organizations.<br><i>*Please note that while this position is listed as <span>“</span>working remotely<span>”</span>, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise. </i></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>What You'll Brew:</strong><span><strong> </strong></span></p><ul><li>Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling process.</li><li>Learn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles</li><li>Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in multi-unit chains and key accounts</li><li>Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations</li><li>Use internal and external data to plan and identify opportunities across the district</li><li>Build strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers by providing leadership and training across defined geography</li><li>Assist in the develop Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for the defined district</li><li>Manage budget for given district and account base</li><li>Conduct monthly/quarterly Planning & Review meetings to benchmark current progress to goal and sell BBC objectives</li><li>Working conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer facing nature of role</li><li>May be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business</li><li>Occasional travel for meetings and trainings</li><li>Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers</li></ul><p><strong>What Ingredients You'll Bring:</strong><span><strong> </strong></span><br><i><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></i></p><ul><li>2+ years sales and/or food/beverage industry experience</li><li>Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer</li><li>Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously</li><li>40% travel to attend Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetings</li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree</li><li>Alcohol-beverage industry experience<span> </span></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Level: 6</strong><br>At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges.
