Position Overview

The Lead Field Services Specialist will provide expert technical leadership and support for T64 engine operations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires a unique blend of technical mastery, customer relationship management, and leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for anticipating problems, identifying trends, and fostering positive customer relationships while ensuring complete and accurate reporting of all engine program activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Guidance and Training: Provide expert on-site guidance and training to customer personnel in the proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of T64 engines and related ground support equipment. This includes the effective use and interpretation of technical data, maintenance manuals, and engineering instructions.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the primary communication bridge between arenaflex and the customer, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely reporting of all engine-related activities, problems, and program developments.
  • Maintenance Scheduling Support: Assist customers in scheduling maintenance activities and workload management to ensure optimal asset availability while meeting operational schedules and mission requirements.
  • Engine Malfunction Analysis: Review, analyze, and report on reported engine malfunctions and failures. Develop recommendations for corrective actions that ensure continuous reduction of disruptions and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintenance Recommendation: Analyze maintenance requirements and make data-driven recommendations to ensure perfect alignment with customer operational requirements and manufacturer specifications.
  • Training Needs Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance actions and identify training gaps or needs to enhance customer capability and self-sufficiency.
  • Program Change Management: Maintain continuous awareness of program and project changes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared for implementation.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this pivotal role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in aviation field service, engineering, or maintenance positions will be considered.
  • Technical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on the T64 engine or similar propulsion system products.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance as required by the position.
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen to comply with federal export control regulations and job requirements.
