What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Software Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the systems that power our global operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver excellence to customers worldwide. Here's what you can expect:

• Full Stack Development: Design and implement robust, scalable applications using modern frameworks such as React or Angular for frontend development, and Java or Spring Boot for backend services. You'll work across the entire development stack to create seamless user experiences.
• Cloud Platform Expertise: Build and manage end-to-end solutions on leading cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll leverage cloud-native services to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Containerization & Deployment: Utilize Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration systems to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications. You'll ensure our services run reliably in production environments.
• Database Management: Work with relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL. You'll design efficient database schemas, write optimized SQL queries, and ensure data integrity across our systems.
• Agile Collaboration: Function effectively within cross-functional agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. You'll work with product owners to understand user stories and acceptance criteria.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines that automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
• Real-Time Systems: Develop and operationalize solutions for near-real-time, high-volume streaming scenarios. You'll build systems that can handle massive amounts of data with minimal latency.
• Technical Leadership: Lead technical initiatives, mentor junior team members, and provide guidance on architectural decisions. You'll Own the technical direction of projects and ensure best practices are followed.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Tackle complex technical challenges, debug difficult issues, and explore new technologies. You'll conduct deeper research to find elegant solutions to challenging problems.
• Code-Level Development: Maintain hands-on development skills, writing high-quality code and assisting with debugging efforts to ensure system reliability and performance.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Equivalent formal education or relevant work experience will also be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Information Technology or a software engineering environment. An advanced degree may offset some experience requirements.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Backend Development: Strong experience in backend development using Java or Spring Boot framework.
• Frontend Skills: Experience with frontend development using React or Angular, with the ability to implement creative design specifications.
• Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of database concepts and proficiency in writing SQL for relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Agile Mindset: Comfort working in cross-functional agile environments, with experience using user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes for production deployments.
