What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and creating positive experiences for every traveler. Your responsibilities will include:
Reservation & Ticketing
- Process ticket issuances, reissues, and refunds with accuracy and efficiency
- Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations for domestic and international travelers
- Handle rebooking for passengers on oversold flights or during irregular operations
- Manage flight changes and provide alternative routing options
Passenger Assistance
- Perform passenger check-in and seat assignments at full-service counters
- Address oversold seat situations and process seat upgrades when available
- Assist travelers requiring special needs, including unaccompanied minors and non-ambulatory passengers
- Provide guidance through security, customs, and immigration processes
- Help passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage drop procedures
Baggage Services
- Accept, verify, and tag passenger luggage at designated counters
- Handle baggage claims and resolve issues with lost or delayed bags
- Process baggage recheck for connecting international flights
- Coordinate baggage services at full-service and first-class counters
Gate Operations
- Manage boarding and deplaning processes at aircraft gates
- Operate jetways and boarding bridges for safe passenger transitions
- Make boarding and departure announcements in a clear, professional manner
- Monitor carry-on luggage and enforce weight restrictions
- Coordinate flight close-out procedures and maintain loading schedules
Customer Care & Problem Resolution
- Issue vouchers and coordinate arrangements for passengers affected by delays or cancellations, including lodging, meals, and transportation
- Respond to customer inquiries with empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Handle complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with ground handling contractors and regional flight teams
- Assist during security situations and emergency scenarios as needed
Compliance & Administration
- Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Comply with all FAA, TSA, and DOT regulations
- Complete required training modules and certifications
- Use internal systems and resources effectively during customer interactions
- Wear appropriate uniform and maintain professional appearance
What You'll Need for Success: Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Language Skills: Bilingual abilities may be required depending on location
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States
