Position Overview

The Senior Agency Sales Manager serves as the primary authority for corporate travel management organizations at arenaflex. In this pivotal role, you'll act as an individual contributor who exercises significant judgment to drive consistent revenue growth by leveraging our extensive network and corporate client relationships. You'll be the face of arenaflex to key travel management partners, building strategic alliances that benefit both our organization and our valued corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Agency Sales Manager at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities that are critical to our corporate travel success:


  • Travel Management Company (TMC) Leadership: Serve as the definitive expert and primary point of contact for all TMC business relationships at arenaflex. Develop and maintain deep, mutually beneficial partnerships that drive sustainable growth.

  • Strategic Business Development: Build comprehensive business relationships with TMC accounts, focusing on creating valuable business travel learning experiences that position arenaflex as the preferred airline partner.

  • Independent Decision-Making: With minimal direction from leadership, exercise substantial judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements with the goal of securing the highest market share and yield possible in individual commercial markets.

  • Contract Development: Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop and finalize contract-official arrangements that protect arenaflex while fostering positive partner relationships.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze revenue, discounts, and contract compliance to ensure target adherence and profitability. Develop actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.

  • Marketing Collaboration: Develop marketing-related initiatives to drive sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business loyalty teams to create compelling offerings for corporate clients.

  • Account Management: Manage the onboarding of TMC corporate accounts through sales calls, negotiation sessions, and coordination with pricing teams to ensure seamless integration.

  • Revenue Optimization: Plan business growth and lead development of additional corporate accounts through collaboration with revenue management teams to ensure exceptional filings are submitted appropriately and drive projected revenue per agreement specifications.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor reporting and statistics to identify trends and develop strategies to ensure arenaflex is positioned appropriately in the marketplace.

  • Financial Performance: Monitor revenue, commissions, and contract execution to ensure maximum revenue and share targets are achieved.

  • Resource Management: Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex.

  • Regional Strategy Execution: Prepare and execute regional sales plans according to corporate sales targets and ensure arenaflex is strategically positioned among competitors while leveraging market position effectively.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring the following qualifications to the table:


  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail management environment or a related field. We're looking for someone who understands the nuances of B2B sales and can translate that expertise into the corporate travel space.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. We value practical knowledge and real-world experience just as much as formal education.
