Position Overview


We are excited to invite motivated and ambitious students to join arenaflex as a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern for Summer 2024. This is a remarkable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, and statistical modeling within a dynamic and supportive corporate environment.

This 12-week internship program runs from May 21 to August 9, 2024, offering you the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop skills that will set the foundation for your future career. You'll be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Dallas, TX, with flexibility for remote work approximately 50% of the time, though attendance for team events and collaborative sessions is expected.

What You'll Do


As an integral member of our Quality Control Strategies and Standards team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Data Collection and Validation: Perform and support the Quality Control team in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on critical data elements to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in creating and delivering results from complex data analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex findings into actionable insights.

  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Support research on critical ad-hoc requests arising from emerging operational issues, providing analytical responses that enable senior leadership to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.

  • Visualization and Presentation: Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools that support relevant points of investigation, facilitating partner understanding and engagement.

  • Query Development: Assist in developing and distributing specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing rhythms and validating the necessity of data requirements.

  • Process Auditing: Identify process irregularities through comprehensive reviews and audits, effectively communicating findings to the team and recommending corrective actions.

  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and methodologies by monitoring for trends, anomalies, and areas requiring improvement.

  • Compliance Focus: Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision, upholding our commitment to regulatory excellence and operational integrity.

Essential Qualifications



  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, with a graduation date anticipated in 2025 or later.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, understand concepts, and present ideas effectively to diverse audiences.

  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to understand complex problems, summarize findings, perform root cause analysis, and provide logical recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase.

  • Experience building PowerPoint presentations for business communications.
