Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Integrated Data Analyst to join our Flight Operations Safety and Training team at arenaflex. This position plays a critical role in our commitment to safety excellence by serving as a subject matter expert for all integrated data collection and analysis activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through data.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, with the expectation that employees will work on-site a minimum of three days per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing information gathered from Flight Safety Programs and providing actionable insights through our Data Integration Group. Key Responsibilities
As an Integrated Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are essential to our safety and training operations:
- Report Generation: Ensure the timely and accurate submission of monthly FAA reports, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and deadlines.
- Software Administration: Administer all components of our Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT), including customer support and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors and Evaluators during observation data entry.
- Technical Support: Support all IDCAT software-related administrative responsibilities, including account management, new command assistance, and system troubleshooting.
- Data Visualization: Download Tableau data to the arenaflex server and populate current dashboards. Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks and dashboards to drive actionable insights.
- Data Categorization: Categorize and organize Instructor and Evaluator measured devices and feedback for comprehensive assessment and reporting.
- Form Development: Support IDCAT observation form formats and generate/create data collection paperwork within the software system.
- Training Analysis: Perform regular education data analyses as defined in industry standards and identify gaps of effectiveness in current Flight Ops Training programs.
- Collaborative Support: Represent Flight Ops Safety in decision-making discussions and provide analytical support for quarterly data examinations conducted by the Data Integration Agency and Advanced Qualification Program.
- Information Requests: Execute and deliver data requests as needed to assist the Flight Ops Training staff and support various departmental initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct IDCAT Inter-Rater Reliability data assessments and facilitate IDCAT educational content development.
- Additional Duties: Perform other position responsibilities as directed by leadership, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Statistics, Data Science, Aviation, or equivalent) is required.
- Experience: Intermediate-level experience with demonstrated proficiency in data assessment and visualization, as well as project management.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with Tableau data visualization tools and complex dataset analysis is essential.
- Analytical Abilities: Intermediate analytical abilities with the capacity to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Database Knowledge: Broad knowledge of database management, evaluation of large and complex databases, and data visualization using tools such as Tableau and Alteryx.
- Statistical Proficiency: Intermediate knowledge of statistics and mathematical concepts, with a strong attention to detail and research abilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of airline operations and the ability to build trust and rapport with all levels of employees across the organization.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in developing presentations and strong writing, speaking, and presentation abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent partnering, communication, and negotiation skills when working with different teams and departments.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex problems and perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to various situations and adopt new techniques and methodologies as needed to effectively meet organizational objectives.
- Work Ethic: Must be energetic, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered a significant advantage:
- Previous experience in aviation safety or flight operations
- Familiarity with FAA reporting requirements and regulations
- Experience with Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) frameworks
- Knowledge of flight training evaluation methodologies
- Background in qualitative and quantitative data integration
