Financial Analyst, Divisional Reporting & Analytics - Capital Access Platforms

Nasdaq is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the Divisional Reporting & Analytics team within FP&A. This role will support the Divisional CFO and Business Unit CFOs by delivering insightful financial analysis and enabling data-driven decision-making for the Capital Access Platforms Division.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with Divisional and Business Unit CFOs and Finance Leads to support budget setting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate financial goals
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and variance commentary versus actuals, budget, and forecast, identifying key drivers, trends, and risks/opportunities to inform decision‑making
  • Support month‑end close and forecast processes, including recording accurate transactions and ensuring data integrity across reporting and planning outputs
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reporting to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation decisions, and performance management for the Capital Access Platforms Division
  • Prepare and present financial reporting and executive‑level insights to senior management, while continuously improving financial processes, models, and systems to enhance efficiency and analytical rigor

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 0-2 Years of experience
  • High proficiency in utilizing Workday, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and OneStream
