Position Overview
The Field Service Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our flight attendant workforce while maintaining the highest standards of service quality, safety, and employee engagement. As a Field Service Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing large teams of flight attendants, driving performance across key indicators including safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Field Service Manager will be diverse and multifaceted, requiring strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen eye for operational excellence. Here's what you can expect:
- Team Leadership & Development: Build positive, lasting relationships with flight attendants and base leadership to maintain high levels of employee engagement, accountability, and flexibility within your teams.
- Performance Management: Lead performance-based management of large flight attendant teams, focusing on key performance indicators including safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and financial targets. This includes recognizing outstanding performance, providing constructive feedback, and implementing corrective action when necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards including uniform requirements, overall performance expectations, and customer satisfaction metrics. Address issues proactively and implement solutions that elevate the passenger experience.
- Safety & Compliance: Promote a culture of safety, wellness, and safe work practices throughout all operational processes. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and arenaflex safety protocols.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with base support staff, various departments, and internal/external stakeholders including union representative groups to provide information and solutions for continuous improvement of base operational needs and staff or administrative issues.
- Leadership Flying Program: Participate in our leadership flying program, which includes experiencing customer and employee engagement firsthand while supporting the flight attendant team during actual flights.
- Communication: Respond proactively to time-sensitive matters and competing needs requiring base communication, input, and feedback. Maintain regular communication with the remote flight attendant workforce from your base location.
- Flight Attendant Support: Provide essential support to flight attendants before, during, and after flight operations, serving as a trusted resource for questions, concerns, and operational guidance.
- Project Coordination: Act as the primary contact and support for assigned projects within the base and/or division, ensuring successful implementation and follow-through.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications

- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new technology systems.
- Training Completion: If not currently flight attendant qualified, must successfully complete initial flight attendant training and maintain all required qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Two years of experience in In-Flight Operations or equivalent leadership role
- Three years of experience at arenaflex or similar airline industry experience
- External supervisory or management experience in a service-oriented industry
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- Working knowledge of airline-specific applications and internal systems
- Understanding of union relationships and collective bargaining processes
