We're now seeking an experienced Travel Insurance Customer Care Professional to join our team at the World Service Center, where you'll play a vital role in managing in-coming calls from travelers and travel advisors interested in learning about our travel insurance products.

  • *Job Summary:**

As a Travel Insurance Customer Care Professional, you'll be responsible for handling inbound calls from customers and travel advisors, providing insurance quotes or policy sales, and utilizing a consultative sales approach to learn about the traveler's needs and recommend an appropriate product to protect against risks associated with their upcoming travel. You'll educate customers on what travel insurance is, along with the benefits and coverages of our products, designed to support the client's unique travel plans.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Handle inbound calls from travelers and travel advisors, providing exceptional customer service and responding to their inquiries about our travel insurance products
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to learn about the traveler's needs and recommend an appropriate product to protect against risks associated with their upcoming travel
  • Educate customers on what travel insurance is, along with the benefits and coverages of our products, designed to support the client's unique travel plans
  • Meet state licensing requirements to sell insurance and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Respond to high-end clientele with professionalism and provide exceptional service to meet their needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide a seamless experience
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice to customers
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • 1+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the travel industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions
  • Ability to meet state licensing requirements to sell insurance
  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to respond to high-end clientele with professionalism and provide exceptional service
  • Experience in the travel industry, including domestic or international travel, and geography knowledge is highly beneficial
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or communications
