Are you ready to take the helm of a critical function that protects millions of users worldwide? arenaflex is looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as our Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics. This is a senior leadership position within our Trust and Safety organization, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational excellence of our adversarial abuse detection and business analytics teams.
In this role, you will lead efforts to identify, mitigate, and prevent adversarial behavior across our platform—including account takeovers, spam, engagement manipulation, policy evasion, and other forms of abuse. You will also oversee the Business Analytics function, which measures abuse trends, generates actionable insights, and produces transparency reports for regulators and stakeholders around the world.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, policy, and user protection. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Global Operations, and Policy Development teams to build robust detection systems, inform product strategy, and ensure that our platform remains secure and trustworthy.
What You'll Do
As the Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse & Analytics, you will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire two high-performing teams—the Adversarial Abuse team and the Business Analytics team. Set the vision, direction, and priorities for both teams, ensuring alignment with arenaflex's broader Trust and Safety objectives.
- Abuse Detection & Mitigation: Oversee the identification and removal of malicious actors attempting account takeovers, spam attacks, engagement manipulation, and policy evasion. Ensure proactive detection of emerging abuse trends and rapid response capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Policy Development team to create policies that leverage account, social, and content signals to identify and address harmful behavior. Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to improve detection tooling and data infrastructure.
- Operational Excellence: Drive effective and efficient operational performance in a global team operating 24x7. Meet or exceed quality, service level, and throughput targets while maintaining team health and engagement.
- Talent Management: Attract, retain, manage, and develop top-tier talent. Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within your teams.
- Insight Generation: Lead the Business Analytics team in measuring abuse, interpreting complex datasets, generating actionable insights, and producing standard reporting through dashboards. Oversee the creation of transparency and compliance reports for countries worldwide.
- Trend Anticipation: Understand, anticipate, and proactively moderate risks from new and scaling industry trends, including emerging technologies like generative AI and evolving adversarial tactics.
- Escalation Management: Handle high-priority escalations with rapid turnaround times. Provide data and content-driven insights to inform decision-making and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners.
